About
The Killin’ Time name dates back to 1994 in Tofino, BC, when it first began as Killin’ Time Enterprises, a fishing charter company. The idea was simple—when you’re out fishing, you’re just Killin’ Time.
In 2006, we relocated to the Comox Valley, and over time, the business evolved into buying and selling antique and collectible firearms from the early Western days. A new chapter began in 2010 when we obtained a medical cannabis license and started cultivating.
By 2018, we moved to Errington, securing a larger property to build a more extensive growing facility. We continued cultivating through the Legacy Market until 2023, when the transition to the legal industry led to the creation of Killin’ Time Cannabis Ltd.
Our journey has been one of adaptation and growth, but our commitment to quality and craftsmanship has remained constant every step of the way.
Our Mission & Values
Our mission is simple. To produce clean, quality cannabis for people to enjoy for any reason they see fit. We value honesty, integrity, and hard work in business to accomplish this.

Commitment to Quality & Craft Cannabis
We take pride in being a small, family-run business where every step of the process is done by hand. There are no automated systems—just dedicated care and attention to detail. From seed to harvest, we are actively involved in every stage of the plant’s growth, ensuring it receives the best possible care.
Our Craft
Cultivation & Growing Methods
Killin’ Time Cannabis takes a refined approach to craft cultivation, ensuring quality at every stage of growth. Each cycle starts with carefully selected clones that are rooted, planted, topped, and transplanted before progressing through a 6-week vegetative phase under CMH lighting and an 8+ week flowering stage under HPS lighting.
With six different genetics growing simultaneously, we maintain a continuous cycle, harvesting fresh cannabis every three weeks. Our commitment to excellence extends to our soil—we use fresh soil for every crop, optimizing conditions for healthy, flavorful plants. At Killin’ Time Cannabis, freshness isn’t just a promise—it’s a standard.
Craft Processing & Curing
Our harvest process begins with whole-plant hang drying immediately after de-leafing on takedown day. Over a 10-day drying period, we maintain precise temperature and humidity levels using a specialized method .
Once dried, the plants are carefully de-limbed by hand and prepared for trimming using the industry-leading Green Broz dry trim machine. This state-of-the-art system, when used with proper preparation and technique, delivers a hand-trimmed quality finish without compromising the integrity.
Sustainability & Clean Cultivation
At Killin’ Time Cannabis, sustainability goes hand in hand with our commitment to a clean, sterile growing environment. We follow strict sanitation protocols throughout every stage of cultivation to ensure optimal plant health, product quality, and environmental responsibility.
All waste leaf material from vegetative pruning and harvest is mulched and composted on-site using the previously used soil from our operation. This eco-friendly practice helps reduce waste while naturally enriching the land.
Additionally, all growing containers undergo a rigorous cleaning process. Each container is thoroughly washed, dried, and fully sanitized before being put back into rotation. By maintaining a sterile and meticulously controlled growing space, we ensure that our plants thrive in the purest possible conditions, free from contaminants and pathogens.
At Killin’ Time Cannabis, freshness, sustainability, and cleanliness are more than just priorities—they are fundamental to everything we do.
